Mom and I recently attended the NASFT Fancy Foods Show in NYC. Holey amazing! We were overwhlemed by the innovation, creativity and down right amazing food. It was like Halloween for foodies!
As two business owners looking to expand our growing company, we were like sponges to the vast array of information presented before us. Everyone was there from conglomerates to start up food businesses like us. It is such an inspiration to walk through the show and meet fellow business owners who commend you on your efforts siting they too were once a start-up and have grown to a multimillion dollar enterprise.
Three of my favorite finds were THCO, Project 7 and Vermints. All three companies are very mission driven. I am determined to grow this company with our original mission in mind: raise awareness of the importance of supporting local, independent, sustainable businesses.
